A fund raising effort has been started, the aim to raise
20,000GBP, the purpose, for the erection of a permanent memorial at the
National Memorial Arboretum at Alrewas Staffordshire. The dedicated memorial
stone is to commemorate all those who have served and are still serving in
the RAF Fire & Rescue Service.
