SHOP REPORT by ALLAN and MARILYN BROOKE

We are endeavouring to keep up with orders and fulfil them as soon as we receive them. A considerable amount of shop money has been spent replenishing the stock of blazer badges, lapel badges, shields, stickers and polo shirts and we apologise to members who have been kept waiting for any of these items. The purchase of new cap badges is the next priority, and we are always seeking new items of stock, so if anyone sees an item which they think we could sell in our shop then please contact us.

The rising cost of items for sale and other expenses such as insurance and postage has meant that we have had to increase our prices and we apologise for this. It is not our intention to make huge profits from our members as the shop is more a member service than a business but we do have to claim our expenses including telephone calls and travelling costs. We freely give our time to members, but the shop has to be self sufficient so sadly this means we must pass on the increases. Hopefully everyone will appreciate the service we give and understand why they are being asked to pay slightly more for the goods they order.

We are both looking forward to a successful summer sales season when the shop stock will be available at Catterick, RAF Cosford, RAF Fairford and of course the next Annual General Meeting. Don't forget to come and visit us at one of these occasions. Thank you for your support.
